I have literally decked my house with Crate and Barrel everything! Trust me when I say you can spend hours looking at all the unique items they have. Now the second mishap arrived a day before i was to give those presents to two different people which forced me to spend Saturday driving around to find adequate boxes to wrap the presents separately so that I can make my friends happy. To start, it hurt to even tap 1 star here. I ordered 3 beds + mattresses + accessories +++++ Was supposed to get those mid-December. The window displays for this store really drew me in.
After discovering scratches on the frame of the side table and a gasket was coming out of its channel of the mesh chaise there would be replacements. And the associates here give you great customer service but don't hover. I had to come in for a few serving utensils, while I was waiting for more to come from the back everyone was asking me if I had been helped. Yesterday my plates arrived through FedEx. Again, they just can't get anything right.
Or, they don't know what they are doing. They immediately charged my card. You can also search near a city, place, or address instead. I went the next day shortly after the store opened to avoid the holiday shopping crowd. This store has over 150 different sofas to choose from with multiple fabric and color options as well as different styles and types.
Moral of the story: do not buy from this company if you would like a smooth and easy purchase, go to the store and just pick it up, if you want to utilize crate and barrel at all. The store here at Carrefour Laval is well laid out nicely decorated and offers lots of items. Product Selection I was very pleased with the wide variety of grilling utensils and accessories that I was able to find on this site. Compared to other places, like restoration hardware, they are not even in the same league. When I didn't hear any updates on my order for more than 10 days, I called customer service and they were very helpful and friendly. For some people, this may seem a nuisance, but I love the catalogs.
Finally scheduled the delivery date but with the item not being in the warehouse, who knows what may happen. That wasn't even the best part of the experience! So now i am looking at customer service that lied or was lazy,not sure which is worth and still no resolve for two orders that they didn't fix. I have tried to call multiple times. Whether you need things for a dinner table or for dinning, your table will look like you are from a royal family. A pickup of the broken lamp was scheduled for an 8am-12pm window. Give me a shout if you can get one of theses older ladies to help you. So I had to send them an rebuttal email about this.
Crate and Barrel has the worst online order and customer service I have ever seen anywhere. My advice would be to only buy what they can confirm on the spot because you will be waiting an eternity for it to arrive. I am currently on hold 23 minutes so far. To say the least I was unimpressed and we sent the replacement back. Four, maybe five times, I returned an item and was told the credit would be mailed to me and it was not sent even once. Have been on hold for 50 mins with same recording. I placed two separate online orders - a few days apart from each other.
They told me that the cancellation has to be within the first 3 days, and it has been 4 days so I can't cancel. We walked out figuring we'd just order online and bypass giving anyone at that store a commission. Ordered my sofa today with their representative Stefan Petrovich, he was knowledgable, helpful and a great representative of this company he was easy to speak too, professionally groomed and dressed believe me I am shocked at how some associates are now way to casual you don't know if their associates or going to the beach. There are other stores and this problem isn't just with me! Seals showed no concern for me or them. The bookcase plus delivery was just short of 2500. A very helpful sales person assisted us. Overall, I was happy with my purchase, but the delivery time was a bit on the slow side. The rug was not available at the time and so I needed to wait a few weeks to pick it up at a warehouse. I recommend that other online shoppers avoid my kind of experience by avoiding Crate and Barrel altogether. My wife loves this store and so do I. Not a huge order, but I was made to feel they really appreciate my business. Even though I was looking for a rug, I wasn't too amazed by the selection. It's been a lot of fun using what we found. The furniture and accessories and most of the lamps and floor rugs have been perfect.
