Hi ResetEra, I played Dragon Quest Inquisition back in 2014 when it launch and dont remember too much about the game besides not being a fan of the combat and world design. Side quests design is terrible also there is a lot of somewhat forced filler content. It's basically half combat in giant fields and half shooting the shit with your party in towns. Regarding combat, it's very passive on normal difficulty, if you want a challenge you need to raise the difficulty and then explore some of it's features. It's an excellent game overall.
